Link Logistics chief executive officer Luke J. Petherbridge sat down for a broadcast interview with Kristen Scholer of "NYSE TV Live" on September 4 to highlight the firm’s role as a significant driver of the U.S. economy and its work alongside other Blackstone portfolio companies to battle childhood hunger.
In the interview, Petherbridge underscored how Link Logistics’ strategic positioning in key last-mile markets across the country is critical to helping businesses of all sizes grow and prosper.
“82% of our buildings have 2 million people within an hour of them,” said Petherbridge. “Efficiency in the supply chain is a key goal for all of our customers, so we try to help them wherever we can.”
As September marks the start of Hunger Action Month, Petherbridge, also the chairman and co-founder of Link Logistics’ marquee nonprofit partner, CoreGiving, shared his mission to combat food insecurity.
“One in five children in America does not know where their next meal is coming from,” Petherbridge said. “Our goal is to give back to local food banks and pantries, and I'm so proud that we’ve delivered over 80 million meals around the country over the last four years.”
"NYSE TV Live" is a weekday morning program broadcast live from the NYSE trading floor covering news impacting global markets and the economy.
